Havik and Van Schip play leapfrog again, third track record for Dens and Vandenbranden

Dutchmen Yoeri Havik and Jan-Willem van Schip go into the third night of the 82nd Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent at the top of the leaderboard. The Madison World Champions have a one-lap lead over four duos. Title defenders Lindsay De Vylder/Robbe Ghys and Fabio Van Den Bossche/Jules Hesters complete the virtual podium.

German Tim Torn Teutenberg and Lindsay De Vylder won the first bouquet of flowers of the evening in the points race. In the subsequent team elimination, Oscar Nilsson-Julien/Valentin Tabellion battled it out with Danish-New Zealand duo Matias Malberg/Aaron Gate. The French pair drew the longest straw.

In the fourth trial of the evening, the track lap, defending Champions Robbe Ghys and Lindsay De Vylder showed their supremacy once again. They grabbed the win for the third day in a row. With a time of 8.431, they set their best time of the week and stayed just under a tenth of their year-old track record (8.332).

In the first Madison of the evening, European Champions Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt put one or more laps on the competition.

Tuurminator strikes again

World Champions Yoeri Havik and Jan-Willem van Schip went into the second half of the evening as leaders and did not relinquish that lead.
